As the elders of the family found stairs increasingly inconvenient, the owners chose this more spacious single-floor unit to create a safe and comfortable home for everyone. The design adopts a modern yet subtly luxurious approach, blending the warmth of wood with refined touches of metal and marble. The generously sized living and dining area is defined by a marble island that integrates wine cabinets, becoming the centrepiece of the home. It facilitates gatherings with friends while serving as a hub for family interaction. Layout modifications were also carefully planned: two smaller rooms were combined into a large en-suite bedroom for the son, balancing space and function. Meanwhile, the former family room was transformed into the grandmother’s bedroom, with the bathroom relocated inside to form a private en-suite, ensuring greater convenience for her daily living.
