Located in Harbourfront Landmark, Hung Hom, this apartment's most striking feature is its signature floor-to-ceiling curved windows, which offer a panoramic view of the sea. Designed for a family of three, the project centers on a "simple and natural" philosophy. Our team integrated the building's organic curves into the interior, creating a spacious, harmonious, and modern living environment.

1. Living Space: A Perfect Blend of Curves and Grayscale Layers

To echo the building's extensive curved glass architecture, the interior thoughtfully incorporates curved sofas and ceiling light troughs, enhancing the sense of continuity and softness throughout the space.

  • Color Palette: The home uses pure white as its primary tone, supported by a consistent light gray base to create a bright, multi-layered visual effect.
  • Living Room Layout: To maximize the sense of space in the rectangular living area, the designer opted for minimal floor-standing furniture, focusing instead on open display areas. Specialized curved wall panels and signature furniture were used to turn structural constraints into visual highlights.
  • Foyer: A wall-mounted floating cabinet was added to provide ample storage while maintaining a sense of openness and floor-level transparency.
2. Dining and Kitchen: Hidden Aesthetics and Functional Reorganization

The core focus for the kitchen areas was to ensure a clean, tidy aesthetic while making daily cooking and dining more intuitive and efficient.

  • Hidden Design: Since the dining area connects to multiple corridors and the kitchen, the layout originally felt fragmented. We used a timber-slat feature wall combined with a hidden door to conceal the kitchen entrance, restoring a sense of flow to the walls.
  • Detailed Coordination: Metal hanging racks in the dining room mirror the design of the living room's TV wall, using material consistency to enhance the home's design integrity.
  • Spatial Efficiency: To accommodate the owners' love for cooking, the designer merged the original helper’s room with the kitchen. This significantly expanded the workspace and storage capacity.
3. Master Bedroom: European Lines & Spatial Balance

The building's iconic curved windows presented a challenge: the space at the head of the bed is narrower than at the foot. We resolved this layout hurdle with clever solutions that balance the proportions and add a touch of sophistication.

  • High Headboard: A custom-designed high headboard was used to break the feeling of asymmetry, balancing the visual center of gravity and elevating the room's texture.
  • Maximum Storage: A full-height wardrobe is integrated with a TV cabinet, featuring elegant European lines and metal handles that radiate a subtle, minimalist luxury.
4. Bedrooms & Study: Wabi-Sabi Charm and Multi-functional Integration

In contrast to the refined elegance of the master suite, the daughter’s room adopts the Wabi-Sabi style, creating a tranquil sanctuary for relaxation.

  • Natural & Rustic Vibe: The space blends warm wood tones with delicate rattan textures. These organic materials create a raw, pure visual layer that brings the bedroom back to a natural, cozy essence.
  • Multi-functional Study room: To improve practicality, one bedroom was transformed into a versatile study room, featuring minimalist white cabinetry paired with a sleek desk setup, maximizing storage while keeping the workspace clean and focused.
